Phillip R. Feagan

Phillip R. Feagan received his B.A. Degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1974 and his J.D. Degree from Campbell University School of Law in 1980. After graduation, he returned to his hometown to open his law office in September 1980. He was joined in practice by R. Jay Foster in 1987, at which time the firm became known as Feagan and Foster. Following Mr. Foster's untimely death in 1998, he continued his practice as Feagan and Foster until January 2005 when the firm name was changed to Feagan Law Firm .

He is a member of the Polk County Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has been active in the Boy Scouts of America and has served in various capacities on the Board of Baptist Retirement Homes of North Carolina. He currently serves as the attorney for Polk County Board of Education and Polk County Department of Social Services.

His hobbies include tennis and gardening. He and his wife, Joan, are active members of First Baptist Church, Tryon, North Carolina. They have two children, Phil and Alice.
